  A food diary or journal can also help you keep track of all the different you eat each day. You can also write down how those foods made you feel both physically (how you performed in sports, if you were tired, or had a lot of energy) and emotionally (sad, happy, good about myself for eating right).  By keeping track you will soon find out what foods are better for you to eat and which ones you should avoid.  

 

  Try keeping a scrap book of the food labels of the foods you eat.  This activity can also help you keep track of the daily recommended values of the nutrients you need while also helping you count calories and fat content of the foods you eat.
